邦題"思い出のグリーングラス"、元々は65年のカントリーヒットらしいですが、やはりこのトム・ジョーンズのヴァージョンがお馴染みですね。今回調べるまで知りませんでしたが、実は処刑場に連れて行かれる死刑囚が故郷の緑と恋人に思いを馳せるというなかなかにシリアスな内容の唄だそうです。
