前年67年にリリースしたシングル"ワーズ"と"マサーチューセッツ"の2大ヒット曲をフューチャーして68年にリリースされたメジャー・デビュー後2作目のアルバム。
このアルバムに先立つ「1st Album」はキラキラ輝くようなサイケの意匠をまとったビートルズ風ポップで結構アルバム全体に勢いを感ずるような印象だったのですが、この2枚目はビートルズのポール曲を想起するようなピアノ弾き語りのバラードに装飾を加えたような地味目な曲が多い中、如何にもシングル狙いのこの2曲が飛びぬけていて何か違和感を覚えます。
