2016年の「The Epic」、2017年のEP「Harmony of Diffence」に次ぐカマシ・ワシントンの最新作。6月の後半にリリースされていたものですが、チト遅れて取り上げます。
前作より「The Epic」に近い印象ですが、大編成のアンサンブルにコーラスからストリングスを加えた音楽は一大音楽絵巻、より壮大に雄大に。
ブルース・リー主演の映画「ドラゴン 怒りの鉄拳（Fists of Fury）」のテーマ曲、フレディ・ハバードの"Hub-Tones"、そしてボーナス・ディスクに入っているジェリー・ゴフィン/キャロル・キングの"Will You Love Me Tomorrow"の3曲がカバー。よもやのキャロル・キングのカバー、この辺りがこの人の音楽度量の広さ、旧世代のジャズファンである私なんぞは目(耳)を白黒。
本作も問答無用の素晴らしい音楽。
